Introduction
JustStart ("we" or "the App") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy explains how your data is processed when you use the App. Your use of JustStart constitutes your acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect the following information:

Personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or physical address
•
Geolocation data, contacts, or address book information
•
Payment details or device unique identifiers
All data you input (e.g., goals, check-in records) is stored locally on your device by default and will never be uploaded to our servers. To enable cross-device data sync, you may voluntarily opt in to Apple iCloud Sync. Once enabled, relevant data will be synced and stored via Apple’s official iCloud service. This sync process is independently supported by Apple and governed by Apple’s iCloud Privacy Policy and data processing standards. We do not participate in any data transmission or storage during this sync, nor do we have access to any data you store on iCloud.
2. Data Usage

The App uses only your locally stored data, data synced to your device via Apple iCloud, or results returned by AI APIs after processing your anonymous content, to provide core App functionalities.

We will not share, sell, or disclose any of your data to third parties, except for:
a.
Data processing conducted by Apple in connection with the iCloud Sync service
b.
Necessary data processing by AI API providers to deliver intelligent servicesBoth scenarios are subject to the respective official rules of the relevant third parties.

You may delete all locally stored data on your device at any time. If you have enabled iCloud Sync, you can manage or delete synced data through your Apple iCloud settings.
3. Third-Party Services
To provide intelligent task breakdown and productivity assistance features, the App integrates third-party AI API services (currently DeepSeek API). Additionally, you may voluntarily enable cross-device data sync, which will trigger calls to Apple’s iCloud service.
All the above services are provided by third parties, and their data processing practices are governed by their respective privacy policies. Details are as follows:

Apple iCloud Service: Invoked only if you voluntarily enable it, for the sole purpose of cross-device data sync. We do not participate in data transmission or storage, nor do we have access to data stored on iCloud.
2.
AI API Service (DeepSeek API): To deliver intelligent services, content you input within the App (e.g., task descriptions, voice commands) may be transmitted to these APIs for processing. All requests are sent anonymously and used exclusively to generate responses. We will not transmit any personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email address, device ID) along with such content.
Except for the services listed above, the App does not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
4. Security
We are dedicated to protecting the security of your data. While electronic storage cannot guarantee 100% security, we implement reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not actively collect any information from children.
6. Updates to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our official website. Your continued use of JustStart after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
